~ EXCITEMENT CONTINUES & MOMENTUM IS BUILDING! ~

"Cristina's House Christian Children's Home" in Sinca Noua, Romania is becoming a reality because of you who have prayed and sacrificed to help our team. "Phase one", where the boys will be living, is now 98% complete. We praise GOD that He has provided and through your generous giving and kind prayers we hope to have this building completed 100% very soon.

Now, we are looking forward and trusting the Lord to provide for "phases two & three" of the construction which will include the purchase of the "dried in" structure with necessary land to complete the living quarters for our girls and the Morris family (this is "phase two"). Prayerfully, we are also trusting Him to provide for the dining hall/kitchen/church auditorium/Christian School building where the Beauchamp family will be staying (this is "phase three").

~ 4th QUARTER UPDATE & MINISTRY REPORT ~ 2017

MINISTRY: Praise God from whom all blessings flow!

As the year of 2017 came to a close, we reflect on 16 years of ongoing ministry in the sin-soaked town of Codlea Romania. The Lord reminds me daily to remain His faithful witness to a lost and dying world desperately in need of a Savior. With His help and by His marvelous grace our family continues to fulfill His perfect will and prayerfully seek those whose hearts the Holy Spirit has prepared to receive the Truth. Even though it is clear and evident that we are living in the end times and final moments before the return of our Lord, we must always continue to press on the upward way as we allow our lives to be a living testimony for Jesus. Your prayers for boldness in Christ are a treasure untold; they keep us prepared for the ongoing battle we face in shar- ing the Gospel and training disciples. All for His glory!

The Holiday season arrived in December allowing us a wonderful opportunity to be a faithful witness for Christ. As minds seem more open to focusing on the birth of Jesus during this time, the Lord allowed us to seize the moment to be used in showing and sharing the love of God. Since I was chosen to be the president of the “Parent’s Association” for Cristina’s School class in Sinca Noua, her teacher kindly agreed in allowing us to be a part of their class celebration. We utilized a portion of the few special “Christmas Offerings” that were sent to our ministry and the Lord blessed by opening the door to make small gift bags full of “goodies”. The sacks contained candies, chocolates and small toys. We purchased cookies, cake and soft drinks to make their “party” complete. In the village where the school is located, most of the people are farmers and their financial resources are very limited making even “simple pleasures”, such as a class party with soft drinks and food, an unreachable “luxury”. I was given a small window of time to “say something” to the students so I did my best to point the subject to Jesus instead of following the world’s ideas of celebrating the Holiday season. In all things we do, the Holy Ghost reminds me that we are the “sower of the seeds” and only God can give the increase. So praise His holy name, the “seed” was sown, we wait in prayer for the Holy Spirit to germinate the seeds and water them, then God gives the great increase. The Bible teaches “without Him we can do nothing”. Amen!
The purchase of "Phase Two", the girl's living area at Cristina’s House Christian Children’s Home, is the next step for VLMI.
As of today, approximately $30,000 is required to complete the purchase of the structure and land to have the deeds in hand.
ASK GOD TO PROVIDE FOR THIS PROPERTY TODAY

WHAT YOU CAN DO: First and foremost, pray without ceasing, then open your heart in obedience to the Lord by giving generously for the sake of the "voiceless" children with no future in sight.

~ 1st QUARTER UPDATE & MINISTRY REPORT ~ 2018

We started the New Year faithfully continuing to be a living witness for Christ in our town of Codlea and also in Sinca Noua. It seems that many still want to hold fast to their “learned religion” instead of submitting their all in all to the Lord. The majority of people here are taught from birth to believe that Romania is a “Christian Nation” so therefore those who are native to this country are “automatically” a child of God and have “inherited” eternal life because of their nationality. We, as true Bible believers, know that this could not be any further from the truth!
Another obstacle that we battle continuously is the wrong teaching of you must be baptized in order to be truly born again/saved. Sadly enough, there are many “repenter” churches (that is what all other beliefs are referred to if not from the Romanian Orthodox church background) who propagate and stress this grossly misunderstood doctrine. Confusion abounds thus causing divisions & doubts among people.
The aforementioned points are stated only so that you may know how to adjust your prayers when praying for us. “Religion” and man-made traditions have blinded many a person and caused them to err in the ways and end up sadly spending eternity separated from God in the flames of hell followed by the lake of fire. Pray that God would use us to help free those from bondage who are trapped in a “religious rut”.
On a positive note, with Spring arriving we have plans to prepare for a special believer’s baptism service. It will include a significant number of new Christians whose lives testify that they are truly born again/saved & permanent members in the wonderful family of God. Amen!
Additionally, we continue our worship services here in Codlea as well as in Sinca Noua where very soon our ministry headquarters will be fully relocated adjacent to our children’s home. Our mission work in Sinca Noua is being led at this time by our local church’s missionary, Brother Catalin Stanica. The Lord is using him and his family a mighty way to be a strong influence for the Gospel in the village. Praise God!
I am healthy and Cristina is doing well in school. Sister Vickie needs special prayers as she recently injured her left elbow in a fall. It is because of His mercy and grace we can continue to remain faithful with joy in hearts as we gladly serve our Savior with love for all souls.
In the first photo below you will see our hot water and central heating systems are now installed in “Phase One” (the boy’s living area) which is at 98% completion. All we lack now is the furniture which will consist of simple beds, small desks & a modest closet with storage drawers.
In the second photo is our prayer object for “Phase Two” (the girl’s living quarters). Do make it a matter of fervent prayer that the Lord will provide so that we may be able to purchase the needed land and building in Sinca Noua while the warmer weather will permit us to complete our family’s living quarters. Approximately $29,000 is needed to complete the purchase of the structure and land to have the deeds in hand.
